A whole year all in one!!!

So my blogging seriously suffered this past year and so in an effort to "catch up" this post is the past year up until now:) We moved to Indiana and Jonathan started work here and really enjoys it. Rylee is now in 3rd grade and was baptized last November. Gavin is in 1st grade is both doing well and loving it. My little Carter Michael is 2 1/2 and is just talking a ton and is my fun sweet companion during the day:) We are expecting a little girl in November and we (especially Rylee) are SO EXCITED!!! We are also in the process of building a house which should hopefully be completed before the baby comes:) It's a fun busy time for our family and I am going to get back into keeping up with this blog:)

Farewell Richmond, VA

After spending four years in Richmond for dental school, a year in Salt Lake City, Utah for a residency and then two more years in Richmond, VA we are finally done with school:) We are moving to Fort Wayne, IN!!! We are sad to leave great friends and memories but excited for the new adventures ahead of us.

The drive was rough to get there but we made it:)

We love the Stony Point fountains and so I thought we should go one more time before we move. This was Carter's first time as well:) He really freaked out when we first got there but he quickly realized how much fun it is:)

I can't believe that my sweet Carter is old enough to be in nursery!!!!! This little guy has the strongest will:) He is is sweet and cuddly and we just love him:)

Since it has been about SIX months since my last post on here (pathetic I know), this is a VERY LARGE haul of pictures with a quick description. We are getting ready to move in two weeks so I might not be back for a little while, but it won't be this long again. And since I want to print this into a book I just couldn't leave out six months:)

The first four are just a few of my cute and growing baby boy!!! I just can not believe how fast he is growing.

 Gavin turned 5 on January 31st!!! I can't believe that he is going to be going to kindergarten:)

 This kid loves trains, cars and trucks:)

 

I made these monster cupcakes for Gavin's class but I couldn't get a good picture:( But they were  cute!!!

 

This was the cake that I made for Gavin's birthday--it turned out so cool!!! We went rock climbing  and had pizza and cake and ice cream with our good friends the Kennedys.

Rylee participated in cheerleading this year through a program called upward.  I was able to coach her squad and we really had a lot of fun:) This is definitely a program we will continue to participate in!!!

I rolled her hair in these scraps of fabric to make it really curly the next day:)  Well if you ever had sponge rollers in  you r hair as a kid you know what it looked like--A big crazy mess:) I didn't take a picture in the morning though:(

So for Mother's Day Gavin's preschool had a special day for the mom's to come and have donuts and tea (it was really funny when Gavin told his teacher that is was wrong for them to drink the tea:) Any ways, they also painted our nails:) And of course Gavin had to pick out four different colors (both of my pinkies are different:)
