Carter and Cupcakes

So Carter had his six month appointment yesterday (he is technically 6 1/2 months but who's counting:) So here are his stats. He weighs 15lb 2 oz (5-10 %) height is 25 inches (<5%) yes that is less than:) and his head is 16 3/4 (10 %). So overall he is a small guy. A few things that we are working on: he is close to sitting on his own. He can do it but then he gets excited and throws himself back. Eating--well that's been a different story. So if this video works you can see him eating oatmeal, which he is finally eating without gagging:) But that is about all he will eat. A picky eater all ready:) So I went back and found Rylee and Gavin's stats from this age, well Gavin's from 6 months and Rylee's from 9 months (we moved here when she was 6 months so we never had that appointment).

Carter--W: 15lb 2oz H: 25in.

Gavin --W:15lb 8oz H: 26in.

Rylee (9 months)--W:14lb 8oz H:251/2 in

The boys are almost exactly the same and Rylee--well she's my peanut:)

Summer has been busy so far. Rylee and Gavin have been doing a little summer camp this week. After tomorrow I am going to have to come up with some fun activities to do when Carter is not napping.

Beware--there are a lot of pictures and they are all out of order. I can't believe it--my baby is 6 months old. We just love having Carter in our family. Since he is six months old I will share six wonderful things about our little guy. He loves to laugh, especially at Gavin. He is a bouncer. He is finally getting on a regular nap schedule during the day. He has the sweetest personality and smile. He now sleeps on his tummy (I put him down on his back still:). And last but not least, so far he is not a fan of baby food--hopefully he will start to like it soon:)

These next picture are from a trip to the fountain. We have been having unusually nice weather here and so it was the perfect day to go. It's nice for the kids when it's killer hot but not so much for their mama:)

The kids were so cute on our bed one night and Jonathan was talking like Donald Duck. We sure have a cute crew::)

Rylee and Gavin were able to take classes at The Little Gym for the past 5 or 6 months. Gavin the goof was not a fan. Rylee, on the other hand LOVED them. The last class was a show class where they performed all of their routines for the families. They did a tap dance, a ballet dance and then showed us some gymnastics. Ry did amazing.

These are just random pictures of Carter. His first trip in the car (yes he is watching Rachael Ray:), ready for a walk, sitting in the Bumbo waiting to go swimming, playing on daddy's knees and eating rice cereal for the first time.

Lachelle and Strawberries

So a few weeks ago we were so lucky to have Lachelle and Kyle come here to Virginia for a visit. We hate it that our family lives so far away and we just LOVE it when they visit. Rylee and Gavin just had a blast with Aunty Shell and jumping all over Kyle:) We took them to do one of our favorite things here in Virginia this time of year--pick strawberries. We pretty much eat until we feel sick--so much fun. We love you Lachelle and Kyle and wish you luck on your new adventure in New Jersey:)
